The plant belongs to the species Capsicum frutescens L. and is a sprawling shrub with a height of 60 cm to 1.5 meters. A characteristic morphological feature is the cone-shaped fruits 2.5–5 cm long, which grow vertically upwards without hanging from the stems.
During the ripening process, the fruits change color from pale yellowish-green to yellow, orange, and bright red. The fruit flesh is considered juicy. The growing period is 80–90 to 150–170 days after transplanting. The plants have high yield potential.
The pungency of the fruits ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units. The variety is primarily used for making hot sauces, and is also suitable for drying, pickling, and fresh consumption. There are lines resistant to tobacco mosaic virus.
