The plant forms a compact bush 30–45 cm tall. A distinctive feature is variegation with a combination of green, white, and purple spots. Fruits 2–5 cm in size change color during ripening from green to dark purple, and then to red. The most vibrant foliage and fruit coloration appears when grown in the sun.
The maturity period is about 90 days. The fruits are edible, and their pungency is estimated at 5 000–30 000 Scoville heat units. Due to its compact size, the variety is used as a houseplant, as well as for growing in containers and in open field.
