The variety is a biennial plant. Its development is based on the selection of the original Dutch forms 'Volhouden' and 'Mansholts'. Plant height in the second year of growth reaches 1.2–1.5 m.

A key feature is the reduced tendency for seed shattering, which significantly facilitates the mechanized harvesting process. The variety's production is characterized by a stable content of essential oil and carvone.

The variety is intended for the production of seeds used in the pharmaceutical and food industries. Currently, it is also maintained in genetic collections as a resource for breeding work.
