Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a clump-forming grass with upright, cascading stems, reaching a height of 80 to 120 cm. The leaves are narrow, linear, and colored in greenish-white, bright pink, and cream tones with a burgundy central vein, becoming darker with age.

Flowering occurs from mid-summer to autumn with burgundy-purple paniculate inflorescences, which gradually lighten to a brownish shade. The variety is heat-loving, belongs to USDA hardiness zones 9–10, and in colder climates is grown as an annual or moved indoors for the winter.

The plant shows resistance to Verticillium wilt; however, in strong winds, it may require support. The variety does not produce viable seeds and prefers full sun conditions.
