The variety has been studied in the context of adaptation to the climatic conditions of Southwestern Europe. Yield is subject to significant fluctuations depending on weather factors, while the crop exhibits sensitivity to high temperatures during the growing season.

The seeds of the variety contain 15–21% protein with a broad amino acid spectrum, including lysine and arginine, as well as about 85% unsaturated fatty acids, primarily linoleic. The plant biomass can be used as a resource for feed, biofuels, or biomaterials.
