The variety is early-maturing compared to the varieties Dutchess, Atlas, and Pasto and is distinguished by a relatively low plant height at the full flowering stage. The leaf blades have a weak degree of waxy bloom, the leaf margins are weakly serrated, and the foliage color varies from light green to green. The plant stem has a green color.

The grain of the variety shows an absence or low content of saponins. Physico-chemical analysis of the flour shows low water absorption capacity, high shear resistance, and reduced ash content compared to a number of other varieties. The variety is intended for use as a food crop.
