The variety belongs to the Lady group, obtained by exposure to ionizing radiation. In scientific publications, the plant is considered as an object for studying methods of microclonal propagation, cryopreservation, and shoot regeneration.

Inflorescences have a purple-golden color, which can vary to reddish-pink when propagated by adventitious buds. Explants of the variety are characterized as topophysically independent, which distinguishes them from other members of the group.
