The variety was obtained as a result of exposure of leaf explants of the Richmond variety to ionizing radiation (gamma rays). It belongs to the Lady group of varieties, which are characterized by a mutational origin.

The color of the inflorescences of the variety is yellow. Scientific research has confirmed the genetic stability of this variety during propagation via apical buds, which allows for the preservation of typical form and color characteristics during microcloning.
