The plant forms a compact bush of rounded shape 30 to 50 cm high. Leaves are dark green, dissected. Inflorescences are double capitula 3–4.5 cm in diameter, without a pronounced fragrance. The color of the inflorescences varies depending on the variety variation, including white and red shades.

The variety is late-flowering; the beginning of flowering occurs in late September — October. The plant is demanding in terms of lighting and soil fertility. It has low winter hardiness, characteristic of the multiflora group, and is used mainly in open field or as a pot culture.
