The Tripoli variety belongs to the multiflora chrysanthemum group, forming a spherical bush. The documentation mentions the Tripoli Dark form, which has lilac or burgundy colored flowers with daisy-shaped inflorescences. The height of plants of this form is approximately 30–40 cm.
The plants are intended for decorative garden landscaping and pot cultivation. Under field conditions, the variety exhibits susceptibility to infection by fungal pathogens of the genera Fusarium, Sclerotinia and Alternaria.
