The variety has a stable yield reaching 20–25 c/ha. The growing season varies from 75 to 94 days. The plant shows resistance to Fusarium and a number of rots, however, in certain studies, susceptibility to Ascochyta was noted.

The grain of the variety is used in the food industry and is suitable for export. The amino acid composition and seed size can be improved through pre-sowing inoculation with specific strains of Mesorhizobium ciceri.
