Variety description

The variety forms a voluminous leaf rosette up to 40 cm in diameter. Leaves are medium or light green, deeply cut and curly. The central part of the plant forms a dense, cream-yellow heart, which can be easily blanched if necessary to reduce bitterness.

The plant is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, as well as relative frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -7°C. The variety is relatively resistant to bolting; the period from sowing to harvest is 60–70 days.

Used for fresh consumption in salad mixes or for preparing dishes, including stewing. Agrotechnics include sowing at a depth of 0.5–3 cm with a spacing of 30x30 cm or 30x40 cm, as well as traditional tying or covering the plant for blanching before harvest.
