Variety description

The plant forms a rosette about 30 cm high and about 20 cm wide. The leaves are heavily serrated, curly, light green, and almost pale yellow in color. The variety does not form a dense head and is intended for cutting.

Sowing is carried out from May to July or August, with harvesting possible from August to November. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field and greenhouses provided there is protection from low temperatures (minimum 0°C) and well-drained soil is available.

With dense sowing, young leaves are cut when they reach a height of 8–10 cm, after which the plant is capable of regrowth for repeated harvests. The variety is used fresh for salads, as well as in soups and stews.
