The Printel (11-659 RZ) variety belongs to the smooth-leaved type of endive. The plant has a semi-upright or upright growth habit, features broad leaves with a flat midrib, and an intensely yellow heart.

The variety possesses high resistance to bolting and tip burn and is characterized by a healthy and round base. It is suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation in spring and autumn, and is suitable for the fresh market and industrial processing.
