The variety Promessa (breeding index E02C.224) is a vigorous hybrid of curly endive (Indivia riccia). The plant has an upright habit, leaves with regular branching, good structure, and medium-sized petioles. The heart of the plant is protected by outer leaves.

The variety is adapted for winter cultivation and effective development under low temperature conditions, which allows for harvesting in late winter and early spring. The crop is characterized by high sanitary reliability and the ability to maintain the health of the leaf rosette base.
