Variety description

The variety forms very voluminous, large leaf rosettes about 40 cm high and about 30 cm wide. Leaves are entire, dark green, and crisp. One of the key features is the formation of a dense white center; to reduce bitterness, it is recommended to perform a blanching procedure by covering the center of the rosette 10–15 days before harvest.

The plant is a hardy variety with high cold resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -15°C...-20°C, as well as good adaptation to heat during the growing season. The variety is intended for open field cultivation as a salad crop for autumn and winter consumption; harvesting is possible from October to January or April depending on the region.
