The variety forms an upright rosette of large light green leaves. The crop is ready for harvest 6–8 weeks after sowing. The leaves have less pronounced bitterness compared to other types of chicory.
The plant is suitable for multiple cuttings, as the leaves regrow quickly if the growing point is preserved. Yield ranges from 1 to 3 kg/m² depending on the height of the cut leaves. The variety is used as a leaf lettuce fresh or as a substitute for spinach.
