The variety belongs to the leafy chicory (radicchio) group. The growing season ranges from 65–70 to 100–110 days, depending on growing conditions. The heads have an elongated, dense shape and a bright red color with thin, delicate veins.
The plant has a good ability for self-blanching and forming uniform heads; it is characterized by high productivity and bolting resistance. Recommended planting density is from 7 to 9 plants per 1 m².
The variety is intended primarily for production in the spring cycle, although cultivation in the winter cycle until spring is permitted.
