The variety belongs to the Rosa del Veneto type leaf chicory (radicchio) group. It forms loose rosette-type heads that acquire their characteristic salmon-pink color significantly earlier than classic varieties of this type. High uniformity of the harvested product and a delicate leaf taste are noted.

The vegetation period is about 100 days. The variety's ability to color early allows for harvesting before the onset of sustained cold, which is an advantage for regions with early winters.
