The plant forms a rosette of tender, thin, smooth light green leaves with minimal veining. Plant height is 25–35 cm. Under specific growing conditions or thinning, the formation of small elongated pointed green heads is possible; the variety is also suitable for producing light yellow heads via root forcing.

The variety possesses increased resistance to drought and water deficit and is characterized by good winter hardiness. It is intended for fresh consumption in salads and sandwiches and is also suitable for light heat treatment. It can be grown both in open field and in containers.
