The genetic formula of the variety is a combination of clementine, Orlando tangelo, and a sweet orange seedling. The trees are characterized by moderate growth vigor, an upright crown shape, dense foliage, and the presence of small thorns on young shoots.

The fruits are early to mid-early maturing, have a shape narrowed at the base resembling a pear, and have a thick, slightly bumpy rind. The ease of peeling is less pronounced than that of mandarins. The number of seeds depends on pollination conditions: under isolation, the fruits can be almost seedless.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption and processing. It has moderate cold tolerance. Due to low yield and juice quality characteristics, the commercial importance of the variety is limited; it is more often found in private gardening.
