Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Ellendale tangor and Robin mandarin. The trees are moderately spreading, thornless, and grafted onto Carrizo citrange rootstock. The variety shows a tendency toward alternate bearing when fruits are left on the branches for a long time.

The fruits have an oblate shape and a size of 50–70 mm. The dark orange flesh has an acidity of 0.9–1.1% and a sugar content of 13–15%. In the absence of cross-pollination, the fruits remain seedless or have few seeds.

The plant is resistant to Alternaria, but the fruits are susceptible to cracking in late summer or early autumn.
