The variety is a triploid mandarin cultivar. In professional collections, trees are grown on rootstocks, including Citrus macrophylla, and are currently in an active formation phase.
The main commercial advantage of the variety is the production of high-quality seedless fruit. In addition, the variety is valued for its pollen sterility, which prevents the appearance of seeds in other citrus varieties when grown together.
