The Rosalina variety (also known as Red Lina) is an early-ripening orange that matures 3–4 weeks earlier than the Cara-Cara variety. The fruits have a round shape, small size, and a slightly expressed navel. The fruit peel is dark orange in color, often showing a red blush.
The fruit flesh and albedo are characterized by intense orange-red pigmentation due to the accumulation of lycopene. During the stabilization of the variety, grafting onto Swingle rootstock using a Cara-Cara Navel interstock was applied. The variety is intended for commercial fruit production.
