Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was discovered in South Africa in the Kat River Valley. It is a spontaneous mutation of the Navelina variety. It belongs to the ultra-early category and is considered the earliest of the pigmented Navel-type varieties presented on the market.

The fruits have red pulp, the coloration of which is due to a high content of lycopene, which distinguishes them from traditional blood oranges with anthocyanins. The flavor profile of the fruits includes a pronounced red berry aroma. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
