The tree is medium-sized to large with a rounded crown, naturally thornless. The fruits are medium-sized, spherical or slightly obovate in shape with a base that may be flattened and have radial furrows. The rind is of medium thickness with a finely pitted surface.

The fruit pulp is light orange, very juicy and tender, with a rich sweet flavor and pleasant aroma. The fruits are moderately seedy. This is a mid-season, productive variety, but it is sensitive to frost. A Seedless Pineapple variety exists, characterized by an almost complete absence of seeds.
