The Belladonna Tarocco variety belongs to the blood orange group. The tree is vigorous, with drooping branches and large leaves. The fruits are medium-sized, round to oval, with sweet juicy pulp, the color of which varies from orange to red depending on the climate. The variety is a winter ripening type, resistant to temperature drops down to -9°C.

The Ovale Calabrese variety belongs to common blond oranges. The plant is of medium vigor with a compact crown. The fruits are oval in shape, medium to medium-large in size, with fragrant skin and sweet pulp containing seeds. The variety is late-ripening and matures in the spring-summer period; it is characterized by a tendency towards uneven flowering.
