Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is an early-maturing orange, ripening 3–6 weeks earlier than the 'Washington Navel' variety. Trees are small or medium-sized with dense dark-green foliage and a compact, often spherical crown with thin, sometimes drooping branches.

Fruits are medium to large in size (140–300 g) and have an oval or oblong shape with a characteristic 'navel' at the apex. The smooth peel acquires a bright orange or reddish hue upon ripening. The flavor of the fruit is sweet, with a low level of acidity and a pronounced fruity aroma.

The variety shows a low tendency toward alternate bearing and albedo breakdown, however, it is susceptible to citrus bacterial canker. The fruits are intended primarily for fresh consumption and export.
