Trees of this variety are characterized by vigorous growth, reaching large sizes with an upright, tall crown habit. Fruits have a round shape, medium size, bright orange color, and medium-thick, fine-grained rind.

Maturation begins early, from September, and fruits can maintain quality while remaining on the tree until March. The flesh is firm and juicy, with a sweet-sour taste. A characteristic feature is the large number of seeds in the fruits.

The variety shows resistance to citrus greening disease (Huanglongbing). Historically, it was used primarily for industrial juice processing; currently, it is also grown as a collector's or amateur plant.
