The variety is the result of breeding work carried out in South Africa through irradiation. The fruits have a round shape, their diameter is 65–80 mm, and the peel is colored bright orange and has a slightly rough surface.

The main characteristics of the fruits are seedlessness and a deep pink or red color of the pulp. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and for industrial juice production.
