A vigorous evergreen tree reaches 4–5 meters in height, possesses a spreading dense crown, large dark green leaves, and has no thorns on the branches. Fruits ripen in the winter months from November to February.

The fruit is large, rounded, slightly flattened, with a protruding 'neck'. The peel is smooth, red-orange in color, and separates relatively easily from the flesh. The juicy orange flesh consists of 10–12 segments and has a sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination for abundant fruiting. The plant is relatively cold-hardy, withstanding brief drops in temperature to slightly negative values.
