Variety description

The variety is a compact plant with a height of about 25 cm, adapted for cultivation in a limited volume of soil. The flowers are large, 8–10 cm in diameter, flat or almost flat in shape, facing upward or to the sides. There are 8 sepals; they are elliptical in shape, with wavy edges and a pointed tip.

The color of the sepals is deep pink with a distinct red-purple stripe, especially noticeable in young flowers. The stamens are numerous, with grayish-pink filaments, red-purple connectives, and white anthers. The flowers have practically no fragrance. The variety is winter hardy and suitable for keeping in interiors, on terraces, and patios.
