The plant reaches a length of up to 2 meters in open field conditions. Leaves are ternate, green in color. The variety is winter-hardy, corresponds to USDA zone 6, and tolerates various soil types provided there is sufficient moisture and drainage.

The main flowering period occurs in May and June, followed by a second summer wave. Spring flowers are semi-double, 6–8 cm in diameter with 8 sepals, while summer flowers are single with 6 sepals. The center of the flower is decorated with contrasting dark stamens. Requires light pruning after the spring flowering is complete.
