The plant is vigorous, formed as a large shrub or small tree 3 to 7 meters in height with a wide spreading crown. The variety is early, fruits begin to ripen at the end of August, and the harvesting period is about one month.

Fruits are spherical, red-pink in color, small, with an average weight of 2.7–4.5 g. The pulp is sweet and sour, containing about 10–11% sugars and 3% acids. The stone accounts for about 13% of the fruit weight. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and various types of processing.

The variety is resistant to diseases, drought, and is capable of withstanding frosts down to -30 °C. It adapts to various soil types. To ensure effective fruiting, cross-pollination with other Cornus mas varieties is recommended.
