The variety is a vigorous shrub 3–4 meters in height with a spreading crown. It belongs to late-maturing varieties; fruit ripening occurs in the middle or second half of September. The harvest period is short, and fruits have a tendency to drop quickly.

The oval-shaped fruits reach a mass of 3.4–4.5 g with a length of about 20 mm. Their color varies from red to deep dark red. They contain about 10% sugars, 2.8% acids, and about 31 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product; the pit constitutes about 11% of the fruit.

The plant is characterized by winter hardiness, disease resistance, and good tolerance to pruning. It is recommended for cultivation in sunny or semi-shaded areas with calcareous, moderately moist soils; cross-pollination with other varieties is necessary for a stable yield.
