The plant reaches a height of 3 to 6 meters and has a spreading crown. The fruits are dark red in color, their length is about 2.3–3 cm, and the stone proportion in the fruit weight is 14–16.5%. Harvesting is usually carried out in the second half of September.
The fruits contain about 12% sugars and 2.2% acids, possessing a balanced taste. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to diseases, pests, and drought. Cross-pollination with other Cornus mas varieties is required for fruiting.
