The plant is a large shrub or a small tree 3–5 meters tall with a wide or broadly pyramidal crown. The fruits are conical or bottle-pear-shaped and dark cherry-colored.

The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group; the harvest matures in the first half of September. The sugar content is about 14%, acids — 2.7%, and the pit fraction is about 13%.

The plant possesses high frost resistance and drought tolerance. The variety is partially self-fertile; to increase yield, it is recommended to plant other Cornus mas varieties nearby.
