The original hybrid is a Western shipper type with round fruits without pronounced ribs, having a small seed cavity and a surface with a uniform, dense netting. The variety is capable of forming normal-sized fruits under extreme heat conditions.
Local versions of the variety are described as early-maturing with a vegetation period of 60–75 days. Plants are vigorous, reaching a height of 1.5–2 m when grown on trellises. Oval-shaped fruits weighing 1.5–4 kg have a golden-yellow rind with netting, and juicy, aromatic flesh of a creamy-white or orange color.
This type of hybrid is characterized by resistance to Fusarium wilt, powdery mildew, lodging, and drought, and also possesses good transportability and keeping quality.
