Arangina is an F1 hybrid with medium to strong growth vigor and good fruit setting. Maturity ranges from 55 to 75 days. The oval fruits are covered with coarse netting and deep green sutures, with an average weight ranging from 1.4 to 3 kg.

The flesh is characterized by high density, pronounced aroma, and a compact seed cavity. Due to its long storage properties, the variety is suitable for commercial cultivation in open field and transportation to export markets.

The variety has high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2) and intermediate resistance to powdery mildew (races 1, 2, 3.5, 5), as well as a number of other diseases.
