The variety belongs to the mini-melon type with dark spotted rind and oval fruit shape, characteristic of the Piel de Sapo variety. The rind retains the traditional netted pattern of the series, known as escriturado.
The variety is intended for the early market segment, which allows producers to start planting earlier in greenhouses and in the open field. The produce has high organoleptic qualities and an increased sugar level on the Brix scale.
