The plant is vining, of medium vigor, suitable for cultivation in the open field, greenhouses, and vertical culture. The variety exhibits cold tolerance and good adaptation to temperate climates. It requires plant training to improve fruit set.
The fruits are round or slightly flattened in shape, with a diameter of 10–15 cm and a weight ranging from 400 to 1200 g. The skin color changes from dark green to grayish-green upon ripening. The maturity period is 73 to 85 days; a sign of ripeness is the easy detachment of the fruit from the peduncle.
