The tree has a narrow, columnar, and very dense crown. The foliage is evergreen; the needles are scale-like and dark green in color. Depending on growing conditions, the plant height can reach 7–18 meters.

The variety possesses increased resistance to cypress canker (Seiridium cardinale) and is characterized as a sufficiently cold-resistant clone. It is used in landscape design for vertical planting. In literature, it is also found under the name Jr 2000.
