DONNELLY RUTH^^^DONNELLY PETER
10 August 2026
The variety has a narrow columnar crown shape and is characterized by rapid growth. The plant was selected during breeding work as a decorative crop with increased immunity to diseases.
A key feature of the variety is its genetic resistance to cypress canker. The protective effect is achieved through the formation of a ligno-suberized border zone at the sites of penetration of the fungal pathogen Seiridium cardinale, which blocks the spread of the infection inside the tree.
