Variety description

The variety was obtained through clonal selection in natural stands or as a result of crossing specially selected trees. A key feature of this variety is genetic resistance to the fungal disease Seiridium cardinale, which affects Mediterranean cypresses.

Externally, the variety is distinguished by a broad crown and an open branching type. Due to the combination of disease resistance and morphological characteristics, Florentia is recommended for creating windbreaks and protective plantings.
