The variety VENTOSE belongs to a hybrid obtained as a result of crossing Cupressus macrocarpa and Cupressus nootkatensis. Like all representatives of this species, it is a sterile hybrid.

The plant has a high growth rate and a dense crown structure, which determines its use for windbreak strips and ornamental hedges. In cultivation, it requires regular pruning to control size and adapts to various types of soil.
