The variety was obtained using tissue culture and embryo rescue methods under laboratory conditions. It represents a scientific breeding experiment to combine the qualities of two cyclamen species: the intense flowering and form characteristic of Cyclamen persicum with the fragrance and hardiness of Cyclamen purpurascens.
Plants of this series are characterized by a sweet fragrance and abundant flowering. Due to their nature, they are sterile, which complicates mass propagation. The variety is intended for ornamental pot cultivation, but has not become widely distributed as an agricultural crop.
