The variety is a local cultivar traditionally grown in the Mediterranean region of Spain. The tubers have an oval shape with an average length of about 15.2 mm. The plant is characterized by a high number of shoots and tubers, while demonstrating relatively low inflorescence formation.

The variety has high yield, reaching 18.5 t/ha, and high heritability of quantitative traits. The main purpose is the production of tubers for the preparation of the traditional orchata drink and fresh consumption.
