The variety was created based on the study of natural populations of Dactylis glomerata. It belongs to the autotetraploid category and is intended for the production of hay, haylage, and for use in pasture grass mixtures, including in combination with red clover.
The plant possesses improved resistance indices to fungal infections, including rust and Scolecotrichum graminis, outperforming earlier varieties in these traits. Breeding was focused on early resumption of vegetation in the spring with relatively late heading dates, which extends the period of crop utilization during the season.
