The variety is an improved version of the Diceros variety. It is intended for forage use and is effective in mixed sowings with clover and alfalfa, including on dry sites. The plant possesses a high soil covering capacity, which helps suppress weeds under moisture deficit.
The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group and is distinguished by later heading compared to analogs. Vostox is characterized by high total dry matter yield with uniform harvest distribution throughout the season, while selection was aimed at improving forage digestibility.
