The variety belongs to the very late maturity group. It is characterized by good dry matter digestibility and exceeds the standard variety Dainava in leafiness by 5.25–6.1%. The variety is one of the most productive Lithuanian varieties in terms of annual biomass formation.
The plant is used as a forage crop and is also considered a potential raw material for biogas production. The variety is included in the national plant genetic resources of Lithuania and is adapted to local climatic conditions.
